It’s no secret that Chip and Joanna Gaines are Christian. The hosts of Fixer Upper, HGTV’s humongous hit, parents of four young kids are open about being devout Christians, on the air and in their latest book, The Magnolia Story. They attend Antioch Community Church in Waco, run by pastor Jimmy Seibert, who counts Chip and Joanna as “dear friends” and has been outspoken in his views against same-sex marriage and promotes the idea of converting LGBT people into being straight. Buzzfeed recently posted about Seibert’s views and questioned those of the Gaines family, given that they’re members of the congregation.
