Did you know?

  • At least 1 out of 4 girls and one out of 6 boys will be sexually abused by age 18
  • At least 90 percent of all childhood sexual abuse victims know their abuser
  • The average sexual predator will commit 117 assaults before even getting caught

Shocking statistics.

There is no doubt that child sexual assault/abuse is top of mind these days, with more and more reports in the news about alleged abuse on our kids.  With each story, we sit in disbelief that another human could take advantage of such young and trusting children and we are profoundly thankful that it wasn’t our child that was victimized.  But for one family, they wouldn’t be so lucky.

Polly Franks faced a parent’s worst nightmare — the sexual assault on BOTH of her young daughters. This pedophile, a trusted friend and neighbor, had committed more than 280 sexual assaults on women and children. Law enforcement could do little to stop him.  He was a free man; until Polly Franks took matters into her own hands. Polly shares her story and tips for parents to spot the warning signs of sexual abuse.
