The holiday season is supposed to be all merry and bright, right? But a 2015 Healthline survey show that 62 percent of respondents admit to feeling stress over the holidays, with 18 percent admitting extreme stress. Whether it’s due to finances, family, schedule, picking that perfect gift or avoiding that end of the year weight gain, most of us have at least a little bit of anxiety when it comes to getting through it all.

But psychotherapist Stacy Kaiser says there are ways to minimize the stress and maximize the joy this season. Plus, Stacy provides our listeners some much needed advice to navigate their own holiday issues.

Stacy Kaiser received her B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Northridge and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has received advanced training in the areas of human and child development, as well as eating disorders and anger management.
